Question: whats the best way to start an email cover letter w/out “to whom it may concern” or “dear mr.” ?

if you know the name of the person you are addressing then you always start by addressing them directly. it also shows you have done your homework and doesn’t make you look like someone who is unprepared.

if you don’t know the person’s name or it is in question who may read the email, then use the generic salutation.
